Congress appoints Azad as its leader in RS

New Delhi, June 8 (IBNS): The Congress on Sunday announced former Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will lead the party int he Rajya Sabha.

" Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad to lead the Congress party in Rajya Sabha," the Congress tweeted.

The party on Monday announced that Mallikarjun Kharge will lead the party in the Lok Sabha.

The Congress performed poorly in the recently held the Lok Sabha polls as the party, which ruled the nation for the past 10 years, could win only  44 seats in the Lok Sabha polls.
