CJ Gita Mittal reads out preamble at Jammu Wing

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir Legal Services Authority (JKLSA) and Ladakh Legal Services Authority celebrated the 71st Constitution Day by organizing series of activities.

The Legal Services Institutions started the celebration of the day by participating in a webinar on the topic “Constitution Day” organised by Chandigarh Judicial Academy in which Dr Balram Gupta, Director (Academics) Chandigarh Judicial Academy, dwelt upon various facets of the constitution.

It was followed by reading of the preamble in the Jammu wing as well as Srinagar wing of the High Court of J&K and at all the headquarters of Legal Services Institutions in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh.

At Jammu Wing, the preamble reading was led by Justice Gita Mittal, Chief Justice, High Court of J&K in which the Judges of the High Court of J&K and officers of the Registry and staff participated.

Similarly, at Srinagar wing, the reading of preamble was led by Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey. A handbook on Fundamental Duties published by J&K Legal Services Authority was released by Justice Gita Mittal, Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Patron-in-Chief J&K Legal Services Authority, in presence of Justice Rajesh Bindal, Executive Chairman, J&K Legal Services Authority and the judges of the High Court of J&K.
