Chief Justice NV Ramana expresses concern over Delhi courtroom shooting

New Delhi/IBNS: Chief Justice of India NV Ramana on Friday expressed deep concern over the Rohini courtroom shooting in Delhi which left three gangsters dead and several people injured.

Chief Justice Ramana has spoken to the Delhi High Court Chief Justice DN Patel, asking him to speak with both the police and the bar association to ensure the functioning of the court is not hindered.

The local court in Rohini will remain closed on Saturday over security concerns, the Delhi Bar Association said in a statement.

The shootout incident in Delhi's Rohini court complex on Friday left three gangsters dead.

Two gunmen dressed as lawyers and present in the court, shot gangster Jitender Gogi thrice.

Special force personnel escorting the gangster then fired back, killing both the attackers on the spot.
