CBI raids 9 locations in Imphal, Aizwal, Gurgaon including former Manipur CM's residence

Guwahati/IBNS: The CBI has registered a case against former Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, retired IAS D S Poonia and four others for misappropriating government funds worth Rs 332 crore. 

On Friday, CBI conducts raids at 9 locations in Imphal, Aizwal and Gurgaon.


In Manipur, the CBI sleuths conducts simultaneous raids at Okram Ibobi Singh's twin residences at Babupara quarter and at the Thoubal Athokpam Makha Leikai residence.


The raid started at Babupara quarter at around 7-30 am and another CBI team raided the Thoubal Athokpam Makha Leikai residence of the former CM, who is currently the MLA of Khangabok assembly constituency and the raids are going on.
