The Border Security Force recently recovered a China-made drone which was carrying a packet of suspected heroin from Amritsar district, media reports said.

The BSF intelligence wing received information regarding the presence of a drone along with consignment, reported ANI.

The BSF reportedly carried out a search operation in the area.

At about 4.45 pm, troops successfully recovered a drone along with a packet of suspected heroin, weighing around 500 gm, in a farming field adjacent to Nestha village in Amritsar, reported ANI.

The recovered drone was identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic.

This is the second instance when the same China-made drone was recovered from Punjab.
