BSF officers apprehend 2 Pakistani nationals, seize 2.76 kg of heroin

Jalandhar: Border Security Force (BSF) foiled the attempt of intrusion by Pakistani nationals into the Indian Territory and apprehended two of them during prompt and immediate action taken to check intrusion through the Punjab border.

A spokesperson of the Punjab Frontier Headquarter of the BSF here on Sunday said the alert roops of the BSF in the area of responsibility in Amritsar sector on Saturday observed some suspicious movement of some persons ahead of the Border Fence trying to reach towards the Border security fence, taking advantage of high rise wheat crops.

The alert BSF troops challenged them and apprehended two Pak nationals.

During search of the apprehended Pakistani nationals, contraband items tied in yellow wrapping weighing 2.760 kg along other accessories were recovered.
