Ahmedabad/UNI: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday apprehended six illegal infiltrating Pakistani fishermen from the Haraminala Creek area in the coastal marshy area of Kutch district in Gujarat during an intensive operation.

BSF DIG GS Malik told UNI that 11 unclaimed Pakistani boats were seized two days ago from this area bordering Pakistan.

During the subsequent operation, a total of six Pakistani fishermen were apprehended from near the border pillar number 1155 today. Nothing suspicious was found from them.

It is known that shrimp in large scale and other edible sea creatures are found in the marshy creek area, many times Pakistani fishermen enter this area in the hope of catching them.

Recently two Pakistani boats and a fisherman were caught. Malik informed that search operation is going on in the entire area as a precautionary measure.
