BSF apprehends man with FICN
Kolkata, July 14 (IBNS): The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday said a man has been apprehended with Rs. 95,000 thousand from his possession in Malda districts Banshnabnagar area.
He was apprehended during a joint operation by the BSF and with local police of Banshnabnagar .
“On 14th July '14 at about 0450 hrs troops of 20 Bn BSF under Frontier Headquarter BSF South Bengal launched a SPL Operation along with local police of Banshnabnagar and apprehended 01 Indians National namely Chotu Kumar , Age – 22 Years , S/O Gagan Dev Singh , Village + Post – Basukund , Police Station – Sarajkothi , District – Muzaffarpur , State – and recovered FICN worth Rs 95,000 Thousand (1000x95 ) with one mobile phone from his possessions,” the BSF said in a statement.
The BSF said: “Apprehended persons along with seized FICN handed over to PS Banshnabnagar , Dist Malda for further investigation.”
