Boy attempts suicide in school

Faridabad, Nov 26 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a Class 8 student has reportedly attempted suicide inside school by setting himself on fire, media reported.
It has been learnt, that the boy was a student of a private school in Faridabad near Delhi.
 
According to reports, he went to toilet and set himself on fire after pouring petrol which he allegedly brought in his school bag.
 
He reportedly suffered 45% burns and his condition is stated to be serious.
 
School administration was unsure what provoked him to take such horrific step.
 
His family though claimed that he had been depressed since his grandfather died.
 
Police is investigating the matter.
