Bottles thrown at Kailash Kher during Hampi concert, singer reacts

| @indiablooms | Jan 31, 2023, at 07:37 am

Hampi/UNI: Kailash Kher, one of the most loved singers of India, was ill-treated at Hampi Utsav in Karnataka when he was hurled with a half-empty water bottle by two accused.

They were immediately arrested by the police. The unruly individuals hurled the half-empty bottles at Kher for not singing Kannada songs.

The singer however clarified that he wanted to give surprise the people at the event by singing a sequence of Kannada songs sung by the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar.

During the performance on the stage, Kher said he did not realise the incident, but only later.

"There were 50,000 energetic people in the audience and he did not even realise when the incident took place. Two impulsive people became restless. They wanted to hear Kannada songs. Since we had a pre-decided sequence of songs, I asked them to have patience," he said.
