Body of missing boy found in safety tank in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, Aug 10 (UNI) A body of six-year-old boy was recovered from a safety tank at Kishanpur in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh, police said on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Balram, son of Yugal Kishore.

The body was recovered from an under construction safety tank, Deputy Superintendent of Poanta Sahib Mr Somdutt confirmed.

According to the complainant, Yugal Kishore, his son went out of the house at 1600 hrs to buy chocolates but did not return home.

He suspects that it was not a natural accident but a crime.

A team of Forensic Science Lab visited the spot after the postmortem of the deceased, police further said.

Further investigations are underway, police added.
