Bengaluru, Jan 5 (IBNS): The Bengaluru woman, who was molested by two bike-borne men on New Year's eve captured on security cameras, had been stalked by a group of men from nearly a week, media reports said.

Four of the members of the group have been arrested by the police on Thursday.

According to the police, the main culprit of the case is Ayappa, who is the leader of the gang.

The other three accused involved in the case are Leno, Som and Sudesh.

Police have not only given out the names of the accused but have also revealed their photographs.

The video of the woman returning home on the New Year night and getting molested in a lane by two motorbike borne men left people shocked in Bengaluru where several cases of mass molestation were reported and captured in images triggering a nationwide outrage.

The video footage showed two mobike borne men dragging the woman and molesting her as she struggled to get free.

She was thrown on the ground later and no one was seen coming to her rescue.

Neighbours told media persons that they heard the woman's scream and came out when the men were gone.
