Blast in Army truck, jawans injured

Dehradun, May 30 (IBNS) At least four jawans were injured in a blast in a truck in which they were traveling in Dehradun's Ghanghora Cantonment region on Saturday, media reports said.

According to reports, the blast occurred in the truck of the Gorkha Rifles Regiment when the jawans touched an unknown object in it.

“Four soldiers were in the truck when the blast happened,” Dehradun Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh was quoted as saying by The Hindu.

The injured jawans were rushed to hospital for treatment.
