New Delhi/IBNS/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members to reach out to every section of society and ensure that they dedicate about 400 days towards working for society before the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

Addressing the workers at the BJP national executive meeting, PM Modi also said that India's best era is approaching and "we should dedicate ourselves to the nation's development."

"The way we made the 'save daughter campaign' successful, in the same way, we will have to run the 'save earth campaign'. There is a need to reduce the impact of excessive use of fertilizers and chemicals to save mother earth," he said.

"BJP no longer a mere political movement but also a social movement working to transform socio-economic conditions, and the BJP is now in a position to take forward its social and political programs on its own," PM Modi told party leaders.

"States must work together and share their culture with each other to promote Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat," he said.

PM Modi particularly praised the struggle and resilience of BJP workers of the state unit of West Bengal saying “no amount of praise is enough for them, the manner in which they turned around”.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis told reporters that PM Modi, in his address to the BJP national executive meeting emphasised reaching out to all sections of the society without electoral consideration and taking the government schemes to the local level.

"Party workers have been advised to conduct some special programmes of Morchas, especially in border villages. So that we can connect with them more, and our developmental schemes reach these areas," explained Fadnavis.

Fadnavis informed that: "Prime Minister said we need to inform the youth about the misgovernance of the previous government and how we have now moved from misgovernance to good governance."
