BJP must clarify stand on Article 370: Omar
New Delhi, Nov 20 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minster Omar Abdullah on Thursday said the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Centre must clarify its stand on Article 370.
"BJP needs to come clear on Article 370. They are talking one thing in Jammu and another in Kashmir. When Modi Sahib comes to Jammu for a rally, hope their is some clarity," Abdullah told CNN-IBN channel.
The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister also said he has seen no such BJP wave in his state, even as the party is confident of accomplishing its +44 Mission in the state.
"I don't know what waves," said Abdullah.
The National Conferences (NC) working president also refuted the fact that he ran away from Ganderbal family seat and said he left the seat with dignity on the back of victory and not loss.
"I have done great work there (Ganderbal), no constituency has seen this amount of work," said the leader.
On being asked about picking up broom, the Jammu and Kashmir CM said, "I did not pick up the broom because Modi did, I did it on Salman Khan's request."
Rubbishing BJP president Amit Shah's allegations that the state government swindled money meant for the flood relief, Abdullah told the channel: "The government in Delhi is his (Shah). If he can prove it through different agencies I am guilty and if he fails to do so he should apologise. I don't expect that too from him."
The state of Jammu and Kashmir is going for a five phase polls which starts on Nov 25.
