New Delhi, Sept 3 (IBNS) A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator was attacked by a gunman right in front of his residence who fired several shots but the politician luckily managed to evade the bullets and survive. The entire incident of Tuesday night was caught in a CCTV camera.

BJP MLA Jitender Singh Shunty was shot at by an unidentified assailant.

Shunty said he has no clue to who could be the attacker.

"I have no enmity with anyone," he told reporters.

The footage showed Shunty fighting the assailant and then running for cover.

"The bullet hit my door and he continued to fire as I ran for my neighbour's house," said the MLA.

The MLA's wife, who was visibly shaken, asked for quick investigation by police.

Police said three shots were fired.
