A 20-year-old woman was killed in Bihar's Saran district for not getting a motorcycle as dowry, police said on Tuesday.

Police sources told UNI that the brother of Manisha Kumari (25), wife of Sanjay Rai, a resident of Mubarakpur Dharamouli village, has lodged an FIR in this case, saying that his sister was killed by her in-laws for not giving her a motorcycle as dowry and escaped.

The body was handed over to the family members after the postmortem, sources said.

The police have registered an FIR and are conducting raids to nab the accused.
