Muzaffarpur, Jan 18 (IBNS) At least three people were charred to death as a mob torched more than 20 huts in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district on Sunday, media reports said.

According to reports, the mob attacked the huts after the recovery of a youth's body.

"trouble between the members of rival communities had been brewing for the last four-five days after a Sahni boy, Bhartendu Kumar, eloped with a girl belonging to minority community," The Times of India reported quoting police sources.

Bhartendu's body was recovered from  paddy field, reports said.

Policemen are camping in the village following the attack.
