Bihar: Fake currency notes seized in Bihar, woman peddler arrested

Munger, Jun 1 (UNI) Police today seized fake currency notes worth more than Rs 14,000 and arrested a woman peddler from Kothiahi Durgasthan locality under Jamalpur police station area in this district.

According to Police, the fake currency notes worth Rs 14250 in denominations of Rs 50, Rs 100 and Rs 200 were seized from a house on the basis of specific intelligence input. Sources said a woman peddler was arrested from the spot.

 
Police said the nabbed woman peddler was identified as Rajani Devi, a native of Balaha village under Bhavanipur police station area in Bhagalpur district. The woman was operating her illegal business from the house.
