Patna, Jan 26 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): Bihar Police on Thursday arrested a doctor after he was caught raising the Indian Tri-colour while under the influence of alcohol.

The incident t took place at a primary health centre, Rafiganj in Aurangabad district.

Acting on an information that Dr Talkeshwar Singh had come drunk to unfurl the Tri-colour at the health centre, a team of police rushed there to stop him.

However, by the time the cops could reach, the accused had already hoisted the national flag.

He was immediately taken into custody and rushed to the local hospital for medical test which confirmed the doctor was indeed in an inebriated  state when he came for the ceremony.

Bihar has imposed total prohibition last year. Last week, the state even formed the world’s longest human chain against alcohol consumption.
