Bhati murder case: DP Yadav sentenced to life imprisonment

Dehradun, Mar 10 (IBNS) A CBI court on Tuesday sentenced former Uttar Pradesh minister DP Yadav and three others to life imprisonment in connection with the 1992 Mahendra Singh Bhati case.

Bhati was shot dead in Uttar Pradesh's Dadri  town in 1992.

Yadav had surrendered in the court on Monday.

He was sent to judicial custody.

In this case, the court found the convicts guilty on the charges of murder, attempt to murder, and criminal conspiracy

DP Yadav's son Vikas Yadav is currently serving 25 years imprisonment in connection with the Nitish Katara murder case.
