Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina reaches Rashtrapati Bhavan, given ceremonial welcome

New Delhi: Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, who is currently visiting India, was received at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday by her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

She was also given a ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Hasina arrived in India on Monday.

She is touring India from Sept 5 to Sept 8.

Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met PM Sheikh Hasina on Monday.

Following the meeting S Jaishankar tweeted: " Delighted to call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh this evening.The warmth and frequency of our leadership level contacts is a testimony to our close neighborly partnership."
