Assam Rifles recovered huge cache of arms, ammunition in Manipur
Imphal: The Keithalmanbi Battalion of Assam Rifles on Friday recovered a huge cache arms and ammunition in Manipur's Imphal.
Based on intelligence input, the troops of Assam Rifles had launched operation at Tmongbung village in Imphal district.
The troops had recovered one AK-47 rifle , two CMGs, two 0.32 mm pistols, two 0.22 mm pistols, eight assorted magazines, thirty-six rounds, and explosives from Tmongbung Village in Imphal district in Manipur.
Earlier, the Assam Rifles had apprehended a militant of KNA (SoO Group) from Moreh Town and recovered one 9mm pistol, two Chinese Hand grenades, and assorted ammunition near BP-76 in Moreh in Manipur.
