Assam reports two more COVID-19 positive cases, state tally rises to 64

Guwahati/IBNS: Assam on Monday has reported two new positive cases for COVID-19 taking the state's tally to 64.

The new cases have been detected in Guwahti.

Assam Health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that, one originally hails from Morigaon district while other is from Guwahati itself.

He tweeted, “2 persons are tested #COVID19 + in Guwahati. One originally hails from Morigaon, while other is from Guwahati itself. Total #COVID19 patients in Assam 64.”

Assam has so far reported 64 positive cases for COVID-19 and out of them, 34 patients were discharged from hospitals.
