Assam: Public beat man trying to loot cash from SBI customer with pistol

Guwahati, Jun 4 (IBNS): A man, who was trying to loot cash from a customer by showing pistol, was beaten up by the public in Assam’s Kamrup district on Tuesday.

The incident took place at the State Bank of India (SBI) branch at Hajo, where a man had tried to loot cash from a customer by showing pistol.

When the man was attempting to loot cash from the customer, some people captured the man and was beaten up by the public.

Later, local police reached the spot and took him in their custody.

Police also seized the pistol used by the man.
