Assam: Barak Museum and Library hosts two-day-long Barak Cultural Festival

Jiribam:  Barak Museum and Library in Assam recently organized the two-day-long  Barak Cultural Festival 2022 at Barak Museum Complex in Bantarapur.

In the first delegate session presided by Ngariyanbam Modhuchandra Singha, founder of the Museum Dr Haorongbam Rajmani Singha gave the keynote address, reports E-Pao news portal.

Ngangom Basanta Kumar Singha, president Barak Museum & Library, presided over the second session of the event.

The event was attended by Langthabal AC MLA, Karam Shyam Singh; Kshetrigao AC MLA, Noorul Hassan; Kaushik Rai, MLA, Lakhipur AC, Cachar; RK Gopalsana, M Surjakumar Sharma, Dr Phuritsabam Birmani, Koijam Swapon and Meihoubam Seitaban as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Karam Shayam lauded Dr Haorongbam Rajmani for all his hard-work and contributions in establishing a Museum in Assam.

He also extended a monetary assistance of Rs 50,000 and assured to provide more aid to help the Museum.
