Earlier, the alliance with 'Punjab Democratic Alliance' failed over the sharing of seats.

The highly placed sources of both SAD Taksali and AAP disclose that both the parties are hoping to take BSP on board as alliance talks were still going on.

The Adami Party and Akali Dal Taksali, a breakaway outfit from the SAD are set to enter into a tie-up for contesting the coming Lok Sabha polls in Punjab jointly the move came after talks for an alliance between the Akali Dal Taksali and 'Punjab Democratic Alliance' failed over the sharing of seats.
