Air India cabin crew member sacked for delaying flights

New Delhi, May 5 (IBNS) National carrier Air India has sacked a cabin crew member for habitually delaying its flights from Jeddah for several months.

Media reports quoted AI authorities as saying that the member had several times refused to fly citing inadequate rest.

The national carrier  claims the former employee delayed over 10 flights in the last 2-3 months alone.

AI has paid one month's salary as per the employment contract to the sacked cabin crew in lieu of the one-month notice period, the termination order said.
