Bhopal/IBNS/UNI: A special plane carrying former Congress presidents Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi back to Delhi after the Opposition parties’ meeting in Bengaluru made an emergency landing at the Madhya Pradesh capital’s Raja Bhoj Airport late Tuesday.

Following an approximately hour-long wait, the duo boarded a private airline’s regular flight at 9:40 PM for the national capital.

Earlier, party bigwigs made a beeline for the airport.

Quoting Gandhi and her son, Congress sources told UNI that the alert pilot decided to take no chances after experiencing a paucity of oxygen within the aircraft.

In the Bengaluru meeting, top Opposition leaders agreed to form I-N-D-I-A ((Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) to take on the mighty Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the general elections scheduled next year.
