Abu Salem agree to marry woman so she is not defamed

Mumbai, June 30 (IBNS) Jailed gangster Abu Salem has come to the rescue of a 26-year-old woman by agreeing to marry her.
Salem agreed to marry the woman after her claims that she could not find a groom because of being wrongly associated with the gangster.
holding her head up high, media reports said.

The woman claims that she could not find a groom because of being wrongly associated with the gangster.

The woman had approached the special TADA court seeking permission to marry Abu Salem.

The woman's lawyer had said that a police probe based on a published article in a local tabloid, linking her to Salem, tarnished her image and she could not marry anybody else. Therefore, the woman decided to marry Salem.

The woman had reportedly threatened to kill herself if her application before the TADA court seeking permission to marry the gangster was not allowed.

Salem had earlier married Sumaira Jumani and actress Monica Bedi.
