AAP Government shifts Anindo Majumdar to DFC

| | May 27, 2015, at 09:03 pm
New Delhi, May 27 (IBNS) Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party Government on Wednesday transferred senior bureaucrat Anindo Majumdar to the post of CMD in Delhi Finance Corporation.
Majumdar was earlier removed as Principal Secretary Services-a move that Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung's declared as null and void.

Reports said Parimal Rai has been appointed as Principal Secretary for Social Welfare and WCD. Rai was the Delhi government's choice for acting Delhi Chief Secretary.

Two other officers are also being transferred.

The Delhi government had on May 18 locked Majumdar's office  for clearing  Shakuntala Gamlin's appointment as interim Chief Secretary.

Gramlin's appointment was made by the order of the Lieutenant Governor and  Kejriwal challenged Jung's primacy over the state Government.
