83 Indians stranded in Pakistan cross over to Attari with help of Government of Pakistan: Vikas Swarup

New Delhi, Oct 12 (IBNS): The Indian High Commission in Pakistan on Monday assisted 83 Indians, who were stranded in the naighbouring nation, cross over to Attari border with help of Government of Pakistan.

MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted: ".@IndiainPakistan assists 83 Indians stranded in Pakistan cross over to Attari with help of Government of Pakistan."

Swarup said MEA is working with Pakistan High Commission to help stranded Pakistanis to return to their country.

"MEA is working with Pakistan High Commission to similarly help Pakistanis stranded in India to return," he said.

Cancellation of Samjhauta Express has left several Pakistani passengers stranded in India.
