New Delhi, Jan 15 (IBNS) Police have arrested three people in connection with Wednesday's vandalisation of a church in west Delhi's Vikaspuri, claiming that they "don't have any connection" with any political or fringe groups.

Reports said on Thursday that the arrests were made on the basis of CCTV footage obtained from the church which the attackers vandalised by smashBNSing window panes and toppling the statue of Mother Mary.

The three are residents of Tilak Nagar, 2 km from where the church is located.

This is was the fourth such attack on a church in Delhi.

Concerned at the serial attacks, Delhi's Arch Bishop Anil JT Couto said there was a "clear pattern of orchestrated attacks on chruches," which was  "very disturbing." He requested the authorities to take adequate measures to bring to book the miscreants.
