US Consulate Kolkata to host Student Visa Day

Kolkata, May 11 (IBNS) The U.S. Consulate Kolkata will host a special Student Visa Day exclusively for students on May 28.

Only student applicants will be interviewed on this day.

In addition to the visa interviews, applicants will be treated to a festive atmosphere, with tips on student life in the United States by current Indian students and American Fulbright scholars currently in Kolkata, provided information about a pre-departure orientation session by the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) and served refreshments.

Students planning to go the U.S. for higher studies this year need to urgently schedule their interview appointment for May 28 before the slots are filled up. 

"They can schedule their appointments by visiting the website: www.ustraveldocs.com/in," read an official statement.
