UP govt orders reopening of primary schools from March 1

| @indiablooms | Feb 06, 2021, at 02:06 am

Lucknow/UNI: Uttar Pradesh government on Friday issued an order for opening of the schools for students from standard 1 to 8 in a phased manner.

While students from standard six to eight would be allowed to attend schools from Feb 10 next, students of the primary sections from standard one to five would start classes from March 1.

The government order says that all the schools and students attending classes will have to follow the Covid protocol as per the central government guidelines.

Earlier the state government had allowed students from standard nine to 12 to attend the schools from December last.

The schools were closed since March last year and online classes and exams were being held thereafter owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
