The Sonnet, drawing inspiration from the Satyajit Ray film, presented the “ Bhuter Rajar Bhuribhoj”, a traditional Bengali food festival on Tuesday.

The festival aims to make this Poila Boishakh, a festival of worship and foodaholism for Bengalis, memorable. The guests present on the occasion include film director Manoj Michigan, actor Shataf Figar and popular actor Biplab Dasgupta.

Soumen Halder, FNB Manager, The Sonnet, Kolkata, was very positive regarding the opening of the festival.

The special attraction of this years’ festival is Lau patay bhapa Chingri, a traditional Bengali dish.
