Singapore's Serangoon celebrates Durga Puja
Serangoon, Oct 14 (IBNS): The Bengali community in Singapore revelled in the festive spirit of Durga Puja, as it was observed amid much fanfare.
The Durga Puja is the grandest of all celebrations for this festive-happy community.
The Serangoon Road Puja witnessed an average footfall of 700 people during the four days.
Keeping true to the traditions, 'Kumari Pujo' was performed on Maha Astami, the second day of the Puja.
