Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools launches expansion drive in Kolkata

Kolkata, June 1 (IBNS) Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools, Delhi's leading Preschool Chain, is planning to expand its network by opening 25 new schools in various locations across Kolkata, in the next 3 years.

Under this expansion spree, the Group is planning to add 24 preschools and 1 senior school in Kolkata.

The chain has already opened 6 pre-schools in Kolkata and currently has around 17 preschool branches and 4 senior school branches in the state of West Bengal.

The group has been operating 425+ “Shemrock Preschools” and 100+ senior schools by the name of “Shemford Futuristic Schools”, across 27 States &Union Territories in India, Nepal and Bangladesh.

Speaking on this initiative, Amol Arora, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools, said,“The philosophy behind our schools is very simple – if children enjoy learning, then it is natural and stress-free for them. Keeping this in mind, we have made our schools child-friendly so that children run to school & have an enjoyable learning experience and walk back home. Further, to prepare the children for a technology-driven world of tomorrow, we extensively use touchscreen boards, projectors, tablets, robotics and electronic blocks in our schools. These latest technological tools/tech-tools are used as teaching aids to enhance the teaching-learning process at our schools.”

He said, “The child-friendly interiors and state-of-the-art infrastructure of Shemrock preschools and Shemford Futuristic Schools that we plan to open in Kolkata, will bring world-class education to the doorsteps of children, thereby setting up a benchmark for quality education in the state.”
