Prosenjit Chatterjee unveils Dr. Jaishree Sharad's book Skin Rules
Kolkata, Dec 3 (IBNS): Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee has recently unveiled dermatologist Dr. Jaishree Sharad's book 'Skin Rules' at Starmark in Quest Mall here.
Along with Prosenjit, actress Sohini Sengupta was also present at the launching event.
In the book, Dr. Sharad tells how one can get healthy, blemish-free skin in six weeks.
From identification of skin type to the selection of right make up and the latest advancements in skincare treatments, 'Skin Rules' throws light upon all major areas.
Unveiling the book, Prosenjit, who puts makeup on face for shooting purposes, recollected some of the old ways, which are learnt from grandmother and mother, to take care of skin.
Prosenjit said: "Not only as an actor, everybody needs to be conscious about skin. It is something that is very important. I personally believe in the kind of things our mothers and grandmothers used to do. I think that is the way I maintained myself. There may be lot of options now but I still believe we should do something which our grandmothers and mothers used to apply."
"Apart from this, food habit is very important for skin," the 56-year old actor added.

Sohini, who doesn't put much makeup, said she is "cleansing freak". "Cleaning and taking bath twice or thrice a day" are the ways by which Sohini said she maintains her skin.
Speaking about the book, Dr. Sharad said: "It is a book about basic skin care and its for all age groups and all genders. It is very handy book. One can just open any page and read and get some tips. There are many home remedies, lot of myths busted and anything related to skin."
