Pooja Shroff brings new collection of women attires ahead of festive season

Kolkata, Aug 11 (IBNS): If women are looking for some new addition to their wardrobes ahead of the upcoming festival season, a visit to the store of Pooja Shroff is an option as the fashion designer has just unveiled her new collections.

Named after the designer, Pooja Shroff is a showroom in the city which keeps collection of women attires.

Designer Shroff said she has brought some  collections which might make women even more greedy about their dresses for the upcoming festivals like Durga puja, Diwali or even Christmas.

The designer has brought two lines of clothes.

Elaborating about the collections, Shroff said: "We basically have got one range of ready to wear clothes only in prints, smart cuts and no embroidery at all. The other range comprises of clothes which are more embroidered but very different contemporary styles in Indian wears though nothing is very typically traditional. These are the two lines we have got to exhibit."

The collections are brought aiming all upcoming festive seasons in the year.

"People are always looking for colours irrespective of festivals, very festive embroideries and nothing very heavy and weight so we have tried to do that in our collections this time" Shroff said.

Prices of all the attires range from INR 9000 to 65000-70000/-

The brand Pooja Shroff was launched in the year 2010.

Various celebrities in the fashion and film fraternity have flaunted her creations. The list includes Jacqueline Fernandes, Bipasha Basu, Helly Shah, Sana Makbul, Parno Mitra, Karishma Tanna, Amy Jackson, Akansha Puri, Mehek Chahal, Krystal Desouza, Urvashi Rautella, Sauraseni Maitra

Speaking about her journey as a designer, she said: "It's my passion and I love what I do. Doesn't really feel like it is a profession. I really enjoy it. So always in my mind I am doing something creative.. It doesn't feel like I am working because I enjoy what I do."
