Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya, actor Biswajit Chakraborty feature in Tagorenama

Kolkata, Sept 19 (IBNS): Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya and Bengali actor Biswajit Chakraborty featured in the Tagorenama which was presented at Sonnet in Kolkata recently.

This was followed by a solo reading session by Biswajit Chakraborty and a medley of four Tagore songs by Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya.

Biswajit Chakraborty read out verses from the following -Byartho Joubon, Nabo Bodhu, Thakurdar Chhuti, Nabo Barsha.

Tagorenama was a tribute by Pdt Tarun Bhattacharya and thespian Biswajit Chakraborty to Tagore by highlighting poetry in music and
music of poetry.

Tagorenama is a journey of two Tagore enthusiasts, who shall explore on stage the nuances and message of the Bard of Bengal, through their magical strings and baritone.

The program featured poetry in music and music of poetry and shall be an assimilation of different hues, shades, emotions, pathos of love of the greatest wordsmith India has ever seen.
