Ocean Grill in Kolkata introduces new menu Steak O Grill
Kolkata/IBNS: Into their eighth year, Ocean Grill restaurant, located in the IT hub of Kolkata (Sector V, Salt Lake), launched a new menu called 'Steak O Grill'.
Get a feel of the vast ocean as you enter the restaurant.
You will be reminded of the sea as you enter the restaurant with its ocean themed bar, with jelly fish shaped lamps and sharkbased decorations greet you.
The buffet corner is decorated with a fishing net from which seashells and a variety of echinoderms hang.
The new Steak O Grill menu includes a large variety of dishes, including seafood platters from across the world.
But that does not mean vegetarian options are excluded.
Highlights from the new menu include Chargrilled Harissa Chicken w’ Side Salad & Ranch Cucumber, BBQ Pork Chops w’ Mash Potato & Apple Mustard Mayo, Mexican Manzanillo Squid, Moroccan Rus-el-hanout Octopus, Moroccan Grilled Mushroom served w’ Mash Potato & Spicy Salsa and Spicy Paneer Shaslik served w’ Sauteed Vegetable, Spicy Salsa & Chilli Jam.
The restaurant has also introduced a live barbeque station, where your food will be cooked on a Sigree or a Tandoor or served grilled.
Introducing the barbeque section, restaurant owner Shane Chatterjee said, “The taste of barbeque is very different from the rest as it has been infused with a variety of slow-cooked process and copious sizzling flavors and seasonings that can neither be cooked in an oven nor a grill. Having mastered in barbeque and specializing in a chef-owned restaurant over 10 years in Australia, the country known for barbeque, the selection of exotic spices from across the world have been blended well to soak the marine flesh along with meat and serve them steaming and savory.”
The place remains open from noon to 11 PM throughout the week.
The price range of the Steak O Grill menu ranges from Rs. 325 to Rs. 1395; prices exclusive of tax.
