Musicea Arts & Culture Council’s Yuva Music Festival Season Seven has been well appreciated

Kolkata/IBNS: Musicea Arts & Culture Council recently held an online music festival as part of its International Monthly Concert Series called "Celebrating Beethoven 250”.

The event was organised by maestro Surendranath Majumdar, Director, Musicea Arts and Culture Council and founder, Yuva Music Festival.

The concerts were hosted on the Yuva Music Festival Facebook page.

Yuva Music Festival since inception in 2014 is a free non-commercial international platform which aims to transform lives with music.

During the pandemic crisis, Yuva Music Festival has not only been working to motivate children and the youth through music but also supporting music education, music teachers and professors across the world.

The latest edition saw world-class professional artists from Austria, Italy, Germany, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, US, Canada, Zambia performing alongside Yuva participants from India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Srilanka, African countries, etc.

From Western Classical to Indian Classical, all genres of music were showcased at the Festival.

Austrian ambassador to India, Brigitte Oppinger-Walchshofer, was the chief guest.

Goutam De, Regional Director ICCR, Andrew Ford, 1st Australian Consul General in Kolkata, Rajasree Chintak Behera, Director, Vivekananda Centre, Beijing and Indian Embassy, Beijing were some of the guests of honour.

Said maestro Surendranath Majumdar, "I feel extremely happy to be able to successfully organize the entire concert series during this lockdown period. I take this opportunity to thank all participants, teachers and professors for their unconditional love and support for Yuva Music Festival.”
