Mumbai, Nov 17 (IBNS): Kangaroo Kids Pali Hill- voted as the most trusted brand in education in 2014, in association with Billabong international school organised an open-for-all event ‘Creepy Crawlies and Dino Mania' for children between the ages of 2 - 10 years.

The event which was conducted over a period of three days from Nov 14 to Nov 16 at the Kangaroo Kids centre in Bandra, was open to all the schools and kids for fun and learning.

11 schools and 1477 kids experienced the creepy world of insects and animals at the event.

The participants also included students from 2 NGO’s – Aseema and Angel Xpress and specially abled students from ADAPT school.

Member of legislative assembly Advocate Ashish Shelar  was present at the event.

The entire venue was given the look and feel of creepy crawlies and the extinct animals, dinosaurs.

The school also showed videos on the lifecycles of insects and animals.

The objective behind the entire event was to amalgamate academic excellence with the learning styles of children.

“Our objective behind an event like creepy crawly is to involve all the children of the community an opportunity to engage in a learning philosophy we deeply believe in; which is active, interactive and highly engaging learning. The hallmark of the event was the children were able to interact with all the exhibits which leads to the development of a mind that is curious, eager to experiment and to create. More than 12,000 children visited the event held at Billabong High Malad and Kangaroo Kids Pali Hill. This includes students of neighbouring schools. This is a great opportunity for the entire community to come together to celebrate meaningful effective and joyful education. It’s admirable to see the kids so happy and how they have benefited from the entire programme,” said Lina Ashar, Founder, Kangaroo Kids Education.
