Kolkata, Apr 27 (IBNS): Monkey Bar, the pan-India gastro-pub, is holding a special 'mango' festival this summer through May.

The month-long festival will have a special menu, featuring dishes across small plates and desserts.

Some of the key items to look for are fiery Nachos Mango (nachos topped with ripe mango and bhut jolokia cream), the Sailor Mango (inspired by Chettinad Meen Kuzhambu; spicy fish kuzhambu with fresh mango salsa), the cool Mango Party- Starter (mango-almond chikki ice-cream sandwich with vanilla cake, with rose syrup soaked sev, topped with passion fruit and mango gel) and the Sweet Pie Mango (almond tart filled with caramelised mango cooked with rum, topped with a vanilla and mango cream).

Do not miss the signature cocktail Mangaa.

Small plates are priced upwards of Rs 230 plus taxes

The Kolkata outlet of Monkey Bar is open Monday to Thursday as well as Sunday from noon to midnight; Friday and Saturday from noon to 1 am.

Note: Only guests above 21 years are permitted after 6 pm.
