Kolkata, Sep 24 (IBNS): If you are wondering what made Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Isha Ambani look so elegant in their grand wedding outfits, then the answer is not far to seek if you are in Kolkata.

It was the city’s very own Dolly Jain, a skilled stylist and draping expert, who worked behind the scenes to make these pretty women appear graceful on their big day.

So this festive season, if you are planning to wear sari, be it as a traditional wear or as trendy fusion wear, set yourself an appointment with Jain.

The drape artist has curated some new draping styles to keep your glam quotient high this Durga Puja and Navratri.

She also has some tips for the readers.

According to her, adding a belt to the traditional Bengali style draped sari will not only be a great way to get that chic look but is also a great way to hold the pleats in place.

If you are a millennial woman, yet planning to choose any saree from your mother’s wardrobe that you have been eyeing on all your life, why not try draping it over a pair of pants and a crop top with a belt over it, suggests Jain.

For the office going woman, Jain suggests draping the sari over a palazzo and matching it with a nice black top.

It gives a side shoulder drape look from the front because of the pleating.
