Kolkata hosts 16th edition of Swayam Siddha

Rotary Club of Calcutta Metro City hosted the 16th edition of Swayam Siddha at the Satyajit Ray Auditorium.

The awards were bestowed on those achieving excellence in their chosen fields of vocation.

The recipients included noted educationist Amita Prasad, author Soma Bose, entrepreneurs Kakoli Biswas, Jayatri Biswas, social activist Adwitiya Dutta Banik and actor Swastika Mukherjee.

The entire program was hosted by noted Public Relations expert Subhojit Roy.

Distinguished personalities from Rotary as past leaders Ravindra Prakash Sehgal, Rajendra Khandelwal, Utpal Majumdar, Mukul Sinha apart from Tapas Bhattacharya and Purnendu Roychowdhury gave away the awards.

Past District Governor Shyamashree Sen spoke as the Chairperson of Swayam Siddha 16 and Rtn Sunando Sen, as the President of the club also gave away prizes.

Noted Rabindrasangeet exponent Sayantani Gupta and classical virtuoso Sohini Roychowdhury performed on the occasion.
