JW Marriott Kolkata offers curated menu through the day for the Bengali New Year weekend

Kolkata, Apr 10 (IBNS): Realizing that celebrations cannot be bound by the ticking of the clock, JW Marriott Kolkata has decided to offer a curated spread over lunch, brunch, hi-tea and dinner for the upcoming weekend when Bengalis will usher in the New Year.

On offer will be Bengali classics such as ‘Kathaler Chop’, ‘Bhaja Moong Dal’, ‘Basanti Pulao’, ‘Aloo Posto’, ‘Sukto’, ‘Kosha Mangsho’, ‘Lucchi’  among others for lunch and dinner buffet.


The kitchens of JW Kitchen will have live stations offering assorted bhajas (fried stuff) and varied preparations of Kolkata street food.

The Bengali menu will be open for Saturday and Sunday brunch in the quintessential elaborate spread with options of sangrias and beers to compliment the meal.

Keeping in mind Kolkata's love for “chai and adda”, JW Marriott Kolkata has curated a hi-tea menu, offering various kinds of beverages and accompaniments to go along with them.

There will be regional music and art to introduce the traditional feel.

Enjoy Baul gaan or participate in a painting session. 

The special event will be held from April 13 to 15. 

Poila Baisakh Hi-Tea: 4pm – 6 pm at Rs 599 ++ applicable taxes per person

Lunch - 12.30pm - 3pm; Brunch - 12.30pm to 3.30pm; Dinner - 7pm to 11pm

Prices: Regular Lunch, Brunch and Dinner charges applicable.
