Jaya Bachhan inaugurates 'Pratibimb'

Kolkata, Mar 17 (IBNS): Actress and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachhan on Monday inaugurated the 'Pratibimb: Reflection of Women in Theatre' at the G.D.Birla Sabhakar in Kolkata.

The 3-day-long theatre event will continue till Mar 18.

The festival is presented by Inner Eye Communications Ltd and in association with Sanskriti Sagar, Open Doors Event Management and Tyagi Education Foundation.

The 'Pratibimb' comprises of three productions - actress Sahana Chatterjee's 'No Ordinary Love', theatre doyen Usha Ganguly's (Hum Mukhtara) and dancer Anita Ratnam's 'A Million Sitas'.

Inaugurating the event, Jaya Bachhan said that she was fighting for women, children and for the people of entertainment and culture at the Rajya Sabha.

"I will go to Delhi tomorrow and my fight for women's justice will continue. I just need your good wishes," she said.
