#IIT fees may go for a steep hike at Rs. 3 lakh
New Delhi, Mar 18 (IBNS) An IIT panel has approved a proposal for a three-fold hike in the annual fees of all institutes, reports said.

The panel recommends the annual fee to rise to Rs. 3 lakh from the present  Rs. 90,000.

However, the final decision would require the nod of Education Minister.
